Job Summary
The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE)-Office of Whole Child Supports is recruiting for an experienced Program Specialist, School Health. Under direct supervision of the School Health Program Manager, the Program Specialist, School Health will provide communication, support, technical assistance, and leadership to school nurses and school health professionals in the state of Georgia. This position will work collaboratively within the Office of Whole Child Supports and with the Student Health & Wellbeing Division to develop education opportunities, guidance, and recommendations that promote student and staff health and well-being. This position is designed to work in tandem with the Division of State Schools, Office of Federal Programs (Special Education), to ensure coordination of school health-related technical assistance, support, and training in all Georgia schools. Description of Duties
****This is a remote/telework position based in Downtown Atlanta. Some statewide travel is required.
