State of Georgia is Hiring a Client Services Coordinator, Registrar Near Atlanta, GA

The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their fulltime Client Services Coordinator positionin the Office of Student Affairs. Under the supervision of the Client Services Manager, this position is responsible for managing and processing day-to-day operational functions under the Student Affairs, Client Services initiative.

In collaboration with the technical colleges, this position will be responsible for one or more services including withdrawals, HOPE scholarship evaluations, CHECS/TCHECS error management, along with providing support in veteran affairs, financial aid, admissions, risk reviews and other future client services initiatives. This is a Hybrid position with some travel required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage withdrawal process in banner, which includes validating and accurately entering all student withdrawal information, including unofficial withdrawal information sent from academics.
  • Review and resolve all errors in the CHECS system on behalf of the college.
  • Review degree students for HOPE scholarship eligibility in accordance with each institutions policy.
  • Provide exemplarity customer service through electronic correspondence and other methods of communication.
  • Works collaboratively with the colleges to develop new and/or alter existing forms.
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and execution of the client services veteran affairs support. This includes reviewing/approving application documents and certifying initial enrollment/hours for applicants.
  • Assist technical colleges with development and implementation of data standards, compliance, and policies & procedures related to Student Affairs.
  • Participate in pilot programs such as client services (FA), DegreeWorks (Registrar) & Recruitment (Admissions) training programs for student affairs.
  • Other student affairs related duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor degree in a related field or 3-5 years of experience in registrar functions
  • Minimum of 3-year experience using BANNER student module.
  • Knowledge and experience of state regulations surrounding the administration of HOPE scholarship/grant.
  • Knowledge and experience managing the CHECS and TCHECS system
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines
  • Self-starter that can multi-task and work independently.
  • Experience working within the TCSG system and/or the system colleges
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to various stakeholders
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess complex processes, solve problems and multi-task in conjunction with various departments
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills demonstrated by the ability to analyze information, evaluate results, and facilitate resolution for compliance
  • Ability to work as part of a statewide higher education community recognizing diverse needs of individual colleges
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional and productive working relationships with staff at all levels at the college and the system office
  • Ability to read and interpret complex regulatory documents and assist in evaluating their impact on policy and procedures
  • The ability to travel through the state of Georgia will be required. Flexible work schedule (remote/on-site) with limited travel to colleges and conferences.
