Credentialing Coordinator
Seeking a Credentialing Coordinator in Kingsport, TN to join our Credentialing team. Office hours typically 8-5, Monday through Friday.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Credential new providers and re-credential existing providers.
- Coordinates credentialing paperwork with clinic managers.
- Ensure insurance carriers receive and process applications properly.
- Knowledge of insurance carriers credentialing requirements.
- Maintain and update providers’ participation status with insurance carriers for CBO and SOFHA staff.
- Maintain and update providers’ rosters.
- Evaluate insurance denials for “non-participating” or “out-of-network” providers and contacts insurance carriers to correct participation status.
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Follow strict organizational policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE:
Two years of clerical experience with demonstrated initiative and self-direction or additional related education may be substituted for the two years of clerical experience.
