CMA/RMA

Seeking a CMA/RMA for our Preferred Internal Medicine Newport office.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms, offices, and treatment rooms.
• Maintain patient flow and accurately record patient data into his or her chart.
• Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections.
• Obtain blood specimens from peripheral sites.
• Submit patient prescriptions.
• Requests and evaluates lab tests.
• Schedule tests, procedures, hospital admissions, and appointments.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.
• Follow all organizational policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a graduate from a recognized certified and/or registered medical assistant program.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION

• Certificate as a certified or registered medical assistant.
