The Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA) serves as the administrator of Florida's state scholarship and grant programs with the mission to facilitate higher education access and services by providing exemplary customer attention, comprehensive financial aid information, and convenient and efficient products. Job Description
This position is responsible for coordinating the administration of state scholarship and grant programs within the Department’s Office of Student Financial Assistance. Duties include maintaining contact with institutions and students pertaining to complex issues on financial assistance awards. This position also recommends system enhancements to continually provide pertinent information on State Programs for management and constituent use.

BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT
It is the policy of the Florida Department of Education that applicants for employment/volunteer undergo Level 2 background screening in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, as a condition of employment or being permitted to serve as a volunteer. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
