JOB SUMMARY:
This is a Professional Accountant position within the Office of Financial Management Payroll Section at the Department of Revenue in Tallahassee, FL. The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of the
salary overpayment and payroll exception process, including but not limited to; salary overpayments, on-demand salary payments, salary cancellations, salary refunds, and payroll journal transfers. The incumbent will also be responsible for assisting with processing and filing of monthly and annual state income tax payments and returns for out-of-state employees; assisting with processing retirement invoices, worker’s compensation adjustments, and tuition fee waiver adjustments: assisting with fiscal year-end activities as assigned; performing other related duties and special projects as required.
