MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

A high school diploma or its equivalent.

Requires possession of a valid driver license.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Occasional to moderate travel required. 

Position may respond to emergencies, including natural disasters or other type incidents requiring travel, as needed.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Heavy equipment operation including but not limited to BOBCAT Tracked Dozer, John Deere 550 Dozer, SWECO, etc.
  • Operation of small and large farm tractors with grader and other attachments, etc.
  • Operation of state vehicles, trucks, OHV’s, ATV’s, MERV, etc.
  • Must complete ATV Rider Safety Course within 6 months of appointment
  • Must maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License.
  • Operation of chainsaws with proper training/certification within 6 months of appointment
  • Maintenance of all assigned equipment
  • Maintenance of shop and tools to maintain assigned equipment
  • Assists other employees as needed with restroom cleaning/maintenance/stocking, gatehouse assistance, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned
