OPS ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST I
FDEP’s Southeast District is seeking individual(s) to work as an OPS Environmental Specialist (ES) I. The OPS ES I position(s) will be a part-time temporary position(s) working no more than 28 hours per week.
Multiple OPS positions may be filled through this advertisement for ES I level work supporting enhanced data accountability and transparency through timely and accurate data entry, preparation of inspection reports, performance of quality assurance (QA), database updates, and other tasks that directly supports the Environmental Resources Program, Chapters 403, 373, 253, 258, applicable Florida Administrative Codes (F.A.C.), the Submerged Lands and Environmental Resources’ Operations and Procedures Manual, Department and Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund policies, and the Clean Water Act Dredge & Fill Section 404 Program. Additional support of other essential programs including but not limited to Wastewater Management; Engineering, Hydrology, and Geology; Water Compliance and Enforcement; NDPES Stormwater; GIS; and Drinking Water may be required.
