What you will do:

Summary

The Office of Quality and Innovation serves as the catalyst for ensuring high levels of performance across the state to support a strong workforce and positive outcomes for Florida families. The office seeks collaborative, action-focused, and transparent professionals dedicated to putting quality at the center of serving families.

Duties and Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:

  • Provides end-user support for internal and external users in the agency learning management system (LMS). 
  • Assists program offices and manages the logistics of uploading content and entering SCORM files with corresponding resource materials into the LMS. Tests and Pilots materials before assignment to subsequently launch eLearning programs across the enterprise or to target populations within the workforce. Supports the creation of events and sessions within the LMS for learners to find and register for training. Provides guidance on surveys and evaluation tools and reports findings to program areas. Makes recommendations to enhance or modify eLearning programs based on results. 
  • Serves as primary back-up to Agency-wide LMS Administrators. 
  • Maintains a system of catalog management to manage all aspects of the training catalog including but not limited to creating unique training course names, verifying providers, and assigning subjects. Ensures the catalog is on an audit schedule to ensure fidelity of system. 
  • Attends and participates in various technical exchange groups and forums relative to Learning Management Systems, eLearning support, the PF-LMS, and My FL Learn. Prepare LMS reports and perform other duties as required. 
  • Create and Deliver training courses and materials specific to various permission levels within My FL Learn. Host demos for new users, produces job aids for processes related to learning management for internal and external learners. 
  • Creates and generates reports and dashboards for My FL Learn as requested/required. 
  • Collects requested changes for Workforce Learning and Development’s (WLD) Intranet Page, ensuring information is accurate and reflects the business operations / organization structure of WLD. Works with DCFs webmaster to ensure that LMS related communication and announcements are posted on the internet and intranet.  
  • Other Duties as Assigned.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint (Office Suite) and Microsoft Teams are required.
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills

  • Strong communication skills, verbal, and written.
  • Proficient in systems-thinking across operational locations, department programs, and government agencies
