Some required assignments at the Phoenix Registrar of Contractors Office
Position will travel throughout the State as needed.
Remote work may be available as dictated by the needs of the agency and the ROC telework policy.

Salary: $68,200 

Closing Date: Sunday, April 21, 2024

This position will be responsible for public information, community outreach (including with Arizona tribal governments), creation of educational materials, community event planning, and a variety of special projects as needed.

• Develop training content to educate the public on the agency mission.
• Prepare and host live educational seminars in-person and virtually.
• Represent the agency with tribal government leaders.
• Create videos that promote the agency and can be posted on our website and other media platforms.
• Create written materials including newsletters, pamphlets, signs, etc.
• Act as the agency contact for news outlets.
• Manage the agency social media accounts.
• Plan and oversee large public events such as career fairs or industry promotional events.
• Other projects and assignments as needed.

• Experience with public speaking and presentations.
• Experience using a variety of social media and video platforms.
• Experience writing articles, newsletters, press releases, advertising pamphlets, etc.
• Experience tailoring content to best fit the expected audience.

Candidates for this position will be required to submit to a criminal history investigation.
Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver’s license appropriate to the assignment. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12.)
