This position plays a vital role in providing transportation infrastructure improvements for use by the traveling public in urban and rural communities in Coastal Alaska, which includes Southeast Alaska, Kodiak and the Aleutian Chain.Working at the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) offers a uniquely challenging and rewarding environment. Southcoast Region’s projects are constructed from Southeast Alaska's temperate maritime rainforests to Southwest Alaska's chain of wind-swept grassy volcanic islands.
