The Salesforce Platform Operations team is recognized as the strategic thought partner, promoting the Salesforce.com platform to improve the ability for State Farm to meet strategic objectives. We work with stakeholders to ensure the Salesforce.com platform is high performing and stable, while maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features of the platform. Our team is the interface to administer and enhance the platform accordingly while working closely to escalate to Salesforce when necessary.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a very collaborative environment on a growing product providing support for all Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud orgs across the State Farm Enterprise.
This team currently supports 8 production orgs with additional growth projected later this year. We work to standardize support across all orgs through automation while providing self-service tools that enable the 100 development teams across AMCC and P&C Claims including Information Security and IT Risk and Compliance.
This is a chance to build upon your technical acumen, get in on the ground floor for some of the new business areas coming onto the Salesforce platform this year, and work with great people across a wide swath of AMCC and the Enterprise.
QualificationsSkills:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Experience in any programming languages such as Python, or Java
- Experience with infrastructure as code/ using deployment automation technologies, preferably Terraform
- Critical thinking skills to challenge current thinking and apply right technology to solve problems.
- DevOps knowledge with practical experience
- ADM201 Salesforce certification
- Experience using Salesforce Enterprise API and Meta Data API
- Code Management using GitLab
HYBRID: Qualified candidates (in or near hub locations listed below) should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment.
