The State Department Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a Director, Core Systems, who plays a pivotal role in overseeing the development of essential business systems. This position is crucial in supporting business units by providing strategic planning, guiding business change initiatives, and offering expert advice on policy formulation. As a leader in this capacity, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless functioning and optimization of core systems to align with organizational objectives.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field. A Master's degree is desirable.

•Extensive experience in managing and overseeing core system operations in the banking or credit union industry.

•Proven experience with eight to ten years in a leadership role overseeing core systems within the financial industry, preferably in a credit union or banking environment.

•In-depth knowledge of credit union operations and regulatory requirements.

•Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other departments.

•Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve core system issues or inefficiencies.

•Proficiency in JHA - (Symitar) core banking software and systems.

•Proficiency in integration with PSCU, NCR, ML, FICS etc.

•Ability to stay updated with industry advancements and technology trends.
