State Democracy Defenders Action is a nonprofit organization dedicated to defeating election sabotage and denial. The autocratic shock during and after the 2020 elections laid bare the threat to our democracy and exposed vulnerabilities in our electoral system. We respond to election sabotage crises in real time, build long-term infrastructure to make our democratic processes more resilient and secure, and pursue accountability against anti-democratic actors. State Democracy Defenders Action was founded in 2023 by , alongside other leading figures in democracy defense, elections, and law.
We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to help manage scheduling, fundraising, grants, budgets and other operational and administrative responsibilities as needed to help the organization run smoothly. This team member will work closely with a variety of core members of our organization, including the Managing Director, the Director of our Election Sabotage Response Network program, Ambassador Eisen, and the Research Team.

Proximity to Washington, D.C. is strongly preferred, but work will be primarily remote. Some work is expected during evenings and weekends.
The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $73,000, based on experience, plus benefits, including a generous PTO policy.
