Starwood Audiology is Hiring a Dispenser Audiologist and/or Hearing Instrument Specialist. Near San Antonio, TX

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dispenser Audiologist and or Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team. As a hearing healthcare provider, you will be responsible for treating patients with hearing disorders. You will work closely with patients to assess their needs, provide appropriate interventions, and improve their quality of life.

Duties:
- Perform evaluations to assess patients' hearing function
- Conduct audiological assessments, including pure-tone audiometry.
- Interpret test results and provide accurate interventions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Ability to drive and or commute between locations and visiting patients.

-Ability of moving and or carrying items such as samsonite, backpack etc.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing loss, communication strategies, and assistive listening devices
- Fit and dispense hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and other amplification systems
- Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in audiology research and technology

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the auditory system
- Proficient in diagnostic evaluation techniques for hearing disorders
- Familiarity with aseptic technique for performing procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients.
- Ability to explain complex medical terminology in a clear and understandable manner
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning

-Ability to fit and/or learn to fit most hearing aids manufactures.

Having an active Audiology and/or hearing aids dispensing license.

Ability to obtain NPI if it is applicable and undergo credentialing with insurance companies.

Note: This is a paid position, as all positions must be compensated including internship positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
