JOB TITLE: Bilingual Clinical Case Manager
DEPARTMENT: School Based Services
REPORTS TO: Program Director
POSITION STATUS: Full-Time-Non-exempt-40 hours per week
SALARY: $24-$26 per hour

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
StarVista’s School Based Services has been providing high quality mental health services to San Mateo County students for over 10 years. The goal of this program is to support students in improving aspects of their lives that may lead to enhanced school performance and increased engagement in learning. In order to accomplish this goal, we send qualified mental health clinicians to each school site and provide a myriad of services including assessment, crisis intervention, individual and group therapy, family therapy, case management, psycho-education, and classroom presentations. StarVista staff also provide extensive consultation and training with teachers, parents, administration, and other school support staff.
POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
We are seeking an energetic, dedicated, well-qualified Bilingual Clinical Case Manager who has a passion for working with adolescents, to provide strength-based, culturally sensitive, and trauma informed case management services to students at Menlo-Atherton High School (MAHS). Many of the students we serve at MAHS are considered at-risk and face challenges including mental health issues, problems with tardiness or truancy, poor academic performance, significant psychosocial stressors, and behavior problems. The Clinical Case Manager will assess student needs and will help connect students and their families to school and community resources to address their needs. In addition to linking students to community resources, the Clinical Case Manager will work to build positive relationships with MAHS students, offering support, and crisis intervention on an as-needed basis. The Clinical Case Manager will collaborate regularly with MAHS Support Staff and report to the Student Support Services Coordinator.
