About the Opportunity:As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work closely with the Director of ACC to implement behavior support plans and provide direct behavioral therapy to clients. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.
What you will be doing as a Behavior Therapist:
- Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA
- Collect and analyze data on client progress and behaviors
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients, focusing on enhancing social, communication, and daily living skills
- Support clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Apply ABA techniques to foster positive behavior change
- Ensure accurate documentation of client progress and treatment sessions
- Collaborate effectively with treatment team members, including parents, caregivers, and other professionals
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician is necessary
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred, but not required
- Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong dedication to be present daily (including dependable transportation)
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Passion for making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities
- Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (Depends on Experience)
