STARRETT is Hiring an Electronic assembly Near Athol, MA
Job Summary
Assembles and tests electronic hand tools and electronic hand tool sub-assemblies.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Use simple hand / power tools along with simple / complex jigs and fixtures.
- Perform assembly and test procedures of various electrical and mechanical products following detailed written / visual procedures while applying established workmanship standards.
- Must follow clean-room procedures when working with optical style tools.
- Maintain equipment and area in orderly and safe condition.
- Must follow all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
Qualifications
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and focus, with the highest standards for quality.
- Excellent hand / eye coordination.
- Ability to use a microscope for inspecting, and sometimes assembling parts.
- Ability to work with and communicate with other individuals.
- Ability to hand-solder small to miniature components on occasion.
- Hours : Monday through Friday 6AM to 2 : 30PM.
- Overtime will be necessary at times, depending on the workload.
Education Requirements
- Minimum - High School Diploma or GED
