Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will be QuickBooks certified and have a strong background in bookkeeping practices. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work remotely as a contractor. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that our client’s financial information is accurate and clear, which has a direct impact on helping our clients achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks.

- Enter financial transactions accurately and timely.

- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.

- Generate financial reports as needed.

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Requirements:

- QuickBooks Online certification is required. (ProAdvisor Preferred)

- 2 yrs experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.

- Proficiency in using accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.

- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Availability to work 20 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Experience working with small businesses or startups.

- Familiarity with other accounting software platforms.

- Knowledge of tax preparation processes.
