Starpoint Law is Hiring an Associate Attorney Near Sherman Oaks, CA
Boutique law firm seeks a labor and employment attorney with 2 years of litigation experience to join our Sherman Oaks office. Experience with individual wage and hour and class/PAGA litigation preferred, but not required. Ideal candidate is punctual, detail-oriented, hard-working, and personable.
Hybrid/remote workplace.
Job responsibilities include:
- Handling cases from inception to settlement/verdict;
- Reviewing and analyzing personnel files and wage statements;
- Drafting complaints/arbitration demands;
- Propounding and responding to written discovery;
- Meeting and conferring on discovery;
- Drafting motions and oppositions;
- Defending and taking depositions;
- Attending court hearings;
- Preparing trial documents.
