POSITION: Special Education Teacher, Probationary
LOCATION: Regan Intermediate School
EFFECTIVE DATE: September 2024
DESCRIPTION: Teachers will work as part of a grade-level academic teams to provide support to students with disabilities.
The successful candidate will have:
1. Knowledge and background related to NYS learning standards
2. Experience with differentiating instruction for students with diverse academic challenges
3. The ability to meet students' social-emotional and academic needs
4. Evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Desire to work collaboratively as part of an academic team
QUALIFICATIONS: NYS Certification - Students with Disabilities
COMPENSATION: Per Starpoint Teachers' Association agreement
