POSITION: English as a New Language (ENL) Teacher, Long-Term Substitute
EFFECTIVE DATES: September 2024-June 2025
QUALIFICATIONS: The ENL teacher will be responsible for guiding English Language Learners toward gaining proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing. This entails working closely with classroom teachers in a co-teacher role as well as providing pull-out services for those students who require it. The successful candidate will be expected to build strong and positive relationships with students and families while engaging collaboratively with colleagues across the district.
CERTIFICATION: NYS Certification in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)
COMPENSATION: Per Starpoint Teachers' Association Contract, includes health and dental insurance
