Starline Academy for the Performing Arts is Hiring a Piano Teacher Near Stoughton, MA

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Piano Teacher to join our team beginning in the fall of 2024. As a Piano Teacher, you will have the opportunity to share your love for music and inspire students of all ages. Whether teaching beginners or advanced students, your role will be to provide quality instruction and help students develop their musical skills.

Responsibilities
- Provide private piano lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
- Create individualized lesson plans based on students' goals and abilities
- Teach proper piano technique, music theory, sight-reading, and ear training
- Select appropriate repertoire for students to practice and perform
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Prepare students for recitals, competitions, and other performances
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment

Qualifications
- Experience working with students of all ages, including children and adults
- Special education experience is a plus
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred
- Knowledge of other performing arts disciplines such as dance or theater is beneficial
- Strong organizational skills and ability to plan lessons effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching music
