The Position
Working from the Corporate Office in Allen, Texas and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Operating Officer is a valued member of the corporate leadership team. This operational leader is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the company’s national Acute Rehabilitation Unit division.
The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to design, implement, lead, and grow this line of business within a results-driven, high-accountability organization. These competencies include, but are not limited to, the following:
Master’s degree in healthcare, business, finance, or related field
5 years of progressive experience, managing multi-site, multi-state ARU operations
10 years of experience in physical rehabilitation
Prior experience structuring and leading joint-ventured units preferred
Excellent understanding of inpatient rehabilitation services
Strong knowledge of reimbursement and compliance
Excellent team building capabilities
In-depth knowledge of the principles of continuous quality improvement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels of the organization
Excellent time management skills
Track record of success with results-driven organizations
Self-starting, self-motivated personality
Positive mental attitude
Willingness to travel 25-75% to meet the demands of the role and facilitate the immediate growth of this new division
