STATUS:

Full-time, Monday – Friday

IN-PERSON/REMOTE:

In Person Center / Clinical / School Based, In Person Client Home Based, Remote Hybrid (Telehealth for some Therapist positions)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or in a related human services field required.

Current valid professional licensure/certification in the State of Michigan.

At least one year of experience in the assessment, diagnosing, and treatment of children and youth which may include intern, volunteer, and professional child and family services work is required.

At least one year experience with multiple major human service delivery systems (Department of Health and Human Services, public health, education, etc.) is preferred.

Infant Mental Health certification, endorsement or waiver required if working with 0 – 3 aged population required upon hire or within 3 months of employment.

At least one year direct clinical experience in providing therapy services to young children and their families preferred.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• General Therapist Overview: working with children 0 - 18, their families, and adults. Please visit our website for each position (noted in Job Title) for specific responsibilities.

Provide parent-child relationship focused therapy and case management services within the home and community settings for pregnant women, fathers, and young children birth to age six.

Conduct comprehensive assessments and treatment planning with measurable objectives.

Provide support and crisis intervention with families and children involved with the program.

Assist in coordination and referrals of support services for the family.

Provide parent education and guidance. Support overall child development.

Work cooperatively as a member of a team with program staff and community partners.

Participate in monthly marketing and outreach activities, develop referral relationships with other agencies and maintain those referral relationships.

Submit timely and accurate documentation of services, billing data and required paperwork.

LICENSING AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid driver’s license and / or reliable transportation.
• Must obtain TB (Tuberculous), CV-19 vaccination, and for some Therapist positions the Flu (Influenza) vaccination to participate as a vendor for all Medical Health Systems that Starfish/Integrated-IMH program supports. Circumstances preventing vaccination, and corresponding accommodations will be reviewed and considered.

Interviews will be conducted in the order of your arrival, using a sign-in sheet.

There is a parking lot and you may enter through the main doors to register and be directed to the gymnasium where the event is held.
