Starcrest Cleaners is Hiring a Production Team Member (FT) Near Champaign, IL
We have an opening for a reliable, highly-productive team member for daytime shifts. The ideal candidate will be positive, productive, and detail oriented as this position involves sorting/cleaning loads, pressing, assembling and possibly making residential deliveries.
The schedule is Mon-Sat mornings and early afternoons (we go until we're finished with the clothes each day). Start time is 6:45am and most days we finish by 2:00pm, but can go as late as 4:00pm.
Responsibilities Include:
- Sorting and running loads in our cleaning machines.
- Pressing clothing (this is like ironing, but with a machine that makes it faster).
- Assembling finished pieces with their orders.
- Sorting and locating finished orders.
- Possibly Deliveries - to residential customers and/or store to store in our delivery van.
- Apply by submitting your resume. We review it and decide whether to go further or not.
- We text you to set up a phone call at a specific time.
- Have your ideal number of hours/week and availability ready.
- After the call, we may get back to you to set up an interview at a specific time.
- We'll interview, then ask you to think about things and call back at a specific time.
- Reliability is very important to us and we are testing it throughout the interviewing process. For your success, please be on time for all calls and interviews.
