Job Description

• Teach critical skills to students on a one-on-one basis using behavior analysis (training provided)
• Provide support during social interactions between peers
• Teach a variety of skills, depending on the needs of our clients. For example: letter ID, shape ID, matching,
• personal information questions, body language, sarcasm, social skills, etc.
• Collect and graph data
• Communicate clearly with parents using both written and verbal formats
• Learn to manage challenging behavior

Minimum Qualifications:

• Volunteer or work experience with children
• Detail oriented
• Openness to feedback
• Dependable/reliable/professional
• Must enjoy and care about our clients
• Must be comfortable with challenging/aggressive behaviors
• 1-year commitment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass criminal background check
• CPR/First Aid certification, or be willing to obtain
• Reliable transportation required

• Prior experience is not required
• Training is provided with close, ongoing supervision

• After initial training period, pay raises are awarded for sufficient progress as early as 2 to 3 months after hire
