A senior industrial engineer on the concepts and productivity engineering team is responsible for driving retail productivity improvements through the simplification of retail store operations. Day-to-day work will balance working as part of cross-functional productivity teams, as well as executing complex system-wide engineering and experimentation objectives that increase operational simplicity over time.
As a Senior Industrial Engineer, you will...

• Be analytical, data-driven, research-oriented, and a creative problem solver that can develop strong relationships across the organization and help advance better, data-driven supply chain decisions that drive our store productivity strategy.
• Actively connects the work among engineering, business experts, external vendors, and other partners across the enterprise in support of strategic initiatives such as simulation, store modeling, and concept development.
• Evaluate unstructured questions from business teams and translate into data problems.
• Utilize systems thinking approach to conceive, plan, and build new data products.

We'd love to hear from people with:

• Education: BS or higher in engineering (industrial, mechanical, electrical engineering) or related technical discipline with concentration in quantitative discipline (Stats, Math, Comp Sci)
• Strong competency and expertise in statistical methods & scripting (SQL, Python)
• Self-starter who can work independently and through ambiguous situations.
• Proficient in communicating effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities.
• Supervision, including direct supervision of contractors 1-3 years.
