Job Overview:

Star Trolley is looking for a Driver to transport clients in a comfortable, safe and timely manner in our beautiful white trolleys and themed buses. Driver responsibilities include planning each route based on road and traffic conditions. Ultimately, you will help us increase customer satisfaction, ensuring we meet clients' expectations for current and future transportation and entertainment needs. To be considered for this role, you should have a valid Florida CDL with “P” endorsement and air brakes restrictions removed, two (2) years of commercial driving experience, and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Strong ability to navigate and develop routes for client pick-up and drop-off locations
• Pick up clients on-time
• Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road construction, as needed
• Must demonstrate extremely strong customer service skills at all times
• Fuel vehicles as required
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness: Before, during, and after assignment to include sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and cleaning windows.
• Communicate with clients prior to assignment
• Assist Tour Guides as directed
• Drive safely
• Perform other related tasks as assigned
• Ensure vehicle is properly secured
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Perform minor maintenance tasks as required

Skills

• Proven experience as a Driver
• A valid Florida CDL with Passenger Endorsement and Air Brakes
• A clean driving record
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
• Availability to take weekend and night shifts
• A polite and professional disposition
• Perform standard Daily Vehicle Inspection Report tasks
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)

Job Type: Part-time

Hourly Wage: $25.00 per hour plus tips
