Star Staffing is Hiring a Sanitation Worker Near Meta, MO
Star Staffing is seeking an experienced Sanitation Associate with forklift experience for a stable and growing food manufacturer.
12 hr graveyard shift (overtime over 8hrs) 6am-6 : 30pm $18.90hr
Responsibilities and Qualifications :
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation protocols, including routine cleaning of machinery and preventing cross-contamination.
- Maintain cleanliness of plant offices and facilities.
- Work indoors and outdoors in various environments, including wet, cold, hot, and dusty areas.
- Wear required safety gear, including bump cap, hearing protection, safety shoes / boots, and safety glasses.
- Work night shifts from 6 PM to 6 : 25 AM, with overtime calculated after 8 hours.
- Train on day shifts before transitioning to night shifts.
- Utilize color-coded equipment to minimize cross-contamination.
- Clean production lines thoroughly using foaming, sanitizing, and scrubbing techniques.
- Complete master sanitation schedule tasks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Sort through pallets and chemicals, mix and fill sanitizer tanks.
- Assist with special projects assigned by Supervisor / Manager.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP's).
- Mandatory participation in overtime and safety programs.
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
- Report safety violations and hazards to the Shift Supervisor immediately.
- Forklift experience is required.
- Demonstrate strong work ethic and punctuality.
