**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Purchasing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for procuring HVAC parts and materials, maintaining communication with vendors and field technicians, receiving incoming items, overseeing warehouse organization, maintaining proper records, monitoring inventory levels, and placing orders as needed. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Procure HVAC-related parts and materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.

- Maintain and establish strong relationships with vendors, negotiating terms and prices.

- Communicate effectively with field technicians to understand and fulfill their material needs.

- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality of goods.

- Organize and maintain the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of materials.

- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to prevent shortages.

- Maintain accurate records of purchases, shipments, and inventory.

- Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues with vendors.

- Utilize computer systems to track orders, inventory, and vendor information.

- Operate a forklift as needed for warehouse organization and material handling.

**Qualifications:**

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency.

- Understanding of HVAC systems and components is highly desirable.

- Experience in warehouse organizing and forklift operation is a plus.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to lift items up to 50lbs.

**Work Environment:**

- This position involves working in an office that overlooks the warehouse area.

- Physical activities include lifting, carrying, and organizing materials.

**Compensation and Benefits:**

- Compensation will be discussed in person and is based on experience and knowledge.

- The Purchasing Agent reports directly to the Service Manager.
