About Us:
Star Protection and Patrol is a leading provider of security services, locally and family owned that is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients and the communities we serve.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Officer to join our team at to serve at locations in the Fox Valley Area. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure and orderly environment for passengers, staff, and property.
Responsibilities:
Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the Bus Transit Center premises to deter and detect unauthorized activities. Utilize surveillance equipment to monitor key areas.
Crowd Management: Manage crowds during peak times, ensuring orderly boarding and disembarking of buses. Respond to and resolve any conflicts or disturbances.
Access Control: Monitor and control access points, checking credentials of individuals entering restricted areas. Ensure only authorized personnel have access to secure zones.
Emergency Response: Act swiftly and appropriately in response to emergencies, including medical incidents, accidents, or security breaches. Follow established protocols to ensure the safety of all individuals.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to passengers by offering assistance, information, and direction. Address inquiries and concerns professionally and courteously.
Incident Reporting: Document all incidents, accidents, and security breaches promptly and accurately. Complete written reports as required by company policies and procedures.
Collaboration with Authorities: Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other relevant authorities as needed. Foster positive relationships with external partners.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper functioning of security equipment, such as surveillance cameras, radios, and other tools. Report any malfunctions for prompt resolution.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a related role (preferred).
Strong observational and surveillance skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
Basic computer skills for incident reporting.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Wisconsin Security Officer license. We can help you obtain!
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. (Preferred, not required)
