Position Overview: We are currently seeking an Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of a client's solar panel farm premises. The ideal candidate will be reliable, observant, and able to handle various situations calmly and professionally.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol the solar panel farm premises on foot or using designated vehicles to detect and deter unauthorized access, vandalism, or theft.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to any suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Maintain accurate records of security patrols, incidents, and any actions taken during shifts.
- Conduct regular inspections of perimeter fencing, gates, and access points to ensure they are secure and functioning properly.
- Provide assistance and directions to visitors, contractors, and employees as needed.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency responders in the event of incidents or emergencies.
- Report any safety hazards, security concerns, or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
- Follow company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations, to ensure compliance and uphold the highest standards of security.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Guard Card
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required for patrols).
