Fast-paced, multi-specialty practice looking for a friendly, positive and energetic Medical Assistant or Foreign Medical Doctor who is fluent in both Spanish and English. Orthopedic Spine experience a plus.

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

***Must be available for Friday clinic only every other week, 2 Friday's per month. This is not a full time job***

Must be fluent in Spanish

Responsibilities:

• Must be fluent in Spanish
• Reliable
• Interview patients and document basic medical history
• Organize and schedule appointments
• Update and file medical records and patient charts
• Assist during medical examinations
• Arrange imaging orders, labs and procedures
• Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

Skills

• High attention to detail
• Proven working experience as a medical assistant or as a foreign medical doctor
• Orthopedic Spine experience a plus
• Personal Injury experience a plus
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Social perceptiveness and patient oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software / EHR

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
