Job purpose

Support business needs by providing manufacturing support, new product development, and derivatives.

Duties and responsibilities

• Develop product based on input from sales
• Creating and executing test plan
• Create, approve, and distribute Engineering Change Notices
• Release part modifications to support Manufacturin
• Identify and execute on projects related to warranty improvement
• Identify and execute on projects related to cost take out
• Create new and revise existing bill of materials

Requirements

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in related field or 15 years of experience in an Engineering role
• 10 years of experience in related field
• Experience with 3D modeling/drawings
• Fundamental understanding of Engineering principles
• Self-starter and hands-on approach
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
• Sheetmetal design experience preferred
• Experience in foodservice a plus

Working conditions

• This position will be based in an office setting, but at times will require a hands-on approach. Occasional prototyping and testing will result in the operation of tools in the manufacturing environment.

Physical requirements

• Will be required to lift 30lbs occasionally, as manufacturing is supported.
