Star Group LP is Hiring a Project Coordinator Near Durham, NC

At STAR - Neu Concepts , we specialize in the custom design and manufacturing of physical experiences. Our clients’ needs range from exhibits, retail and corporate environments, and branded events. Wherever a brand lives, STAR is there to make it shine.

At this time, STAR has an open position for a Project Coordinator(full-time, exempt). This role is critical in managing client projects ensuring they are on-time, within budget and to our client’s expectations.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate tasks and information flow for client projects
  • Order show services by applicable deadlines
  • Manage all internal communications relative to projects utilizing our proprietary program management software.
  • Support account management team on assigned accounts to help coordinate all aspects of client’s trade show programs.
  • Assist in the preparation of client trade show estimates, including obtaining full details from show organizers and getting quotes from approved vendors.
  • Maintain and monitor the accuracy of project dates, financial information, estimates, billing, etc. prior to distribution.
  • Communicate with clients and internal teams in a professional, solutions-based and customer service focused manner.
  • Pull and prep portable trade show displays in warehouse.
  • Filing of documentation and other clerical duties as needed.

The ideal candidate for this job will possess a collaborative spirit, a commitment to exceeding client expectations, fanatical attention to detail, and an exceptional ability to manage assigned tasks and timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, marketing or a related field
  • Desire to learn and grow within the field of project management
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new software
  • Occasional travel to trade shows, events and client locations is required
  • Excellent customer service focus and communications skills – both written and verbal.
  • Strong administrative and superior organizational skills.
  • Ability to be detail-oriented and deadline focused while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness and ability to work beyond 40 hours/week during peak periods to ensure client needs are met.
