Job Title: Entry-Level After-School Staff for K-5th Grade Students

Job Details:

Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 2 pm - 6 pm
• Tuesday: 1 pm - 6 pm
• Must be available 5 days a week.

Pay Rate: $20.75 per hour

Educational Requirements:

• Minimum of 12 college/university units in fields like Child Development, Early Childhood Development, Art, Music, Dance, Physical Education, Psychology, Sociology, Sports, or Yoga. Transcripts required . *** ( Must submit prior to the interview, no diplomas or certificates) .
• Alternatively, you can have six units and be currently enrolled in 6 units. Transcripts will be needed to verify your education.

Experience:

• Preferred: Approximately six months of prior experience, paid or volunteer, directly working with children.
• Relevant experience includes coaching, recreation leadership, teaching, teacher's assistant, youth development programs, or involvement in youth groups.
• Experience working with a group of 15 to 20 students.

Other Requirements:

• Successful completion of a background check is necessary for employment.
• Physical fitness is essential as the role involves walking, running, and jumping while working with children.
• Availability from school dismissal until 6 pm is required.
• Documentation of the following immunizations is necessary: MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) and Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis).
• Working with a group of 15 to 20 children.
• Must be available 5 days a week.
