Star Choice Pediatrics is an up-and-coming pediatric medical practice looking to hire a Registered Nurse for a full-time in person triage position. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who values quality patient care, has strong multi-tasking skills, and enjoys working with children and their families. Pediatric experience is preferred.

RN Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess and triage patients based on their condition and severity via telephone communication
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques
• Assist the Physician team with prescription refills, authorization requests, and scheduling appointments, obtain test results from hospitals, laboratories, radiologists, doctor offices, etc.as requested.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors e.g. collaborates with colleagues, supervisors, other professionals, and coworkers to build and maintain effective, dynamic professional team relationships
• Ability to respond to emergency situations
• This is in IN PERSON position, there is not an option to work remote.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
