Star Cadet is Hiring an Embroidery Machine Operator Near Madison, TN

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Embroidery Machine Operator and Seamstress to join our team. As an Embroidery Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the embroidery machine and sewing machines. This is a crucial role in our production process, ensuring that our products are fabricated and assembled efficiently and accurately. We are looking for someone who will enjoy collaborating with owners in designing and producing high quality products for our brand and clients.

Embroidery Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor embroidery machines and other equipment to perform garment embellishment tasks.
  • Keep Digitized design files organized.

Seamstress Responsibilities:

  • Operate sewing machines to perform garment embellishment tasks such as, but not limited to, applying patches, labels, and on occasion cut & sew products or garments.

General Responsibilities:

  • Set up machines according to specific job requirements.
  • Inspect fabric and materials for quality and accuracy before beginning production.
  • Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or malfunctions.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal working condition.
  • Troubleshoot machine problems and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Maintain an up to date training manual.

Experience:

  • Previous experience as an Embroidery Machine Operator and Seamstress.
  • Proficient in operating sewing machines and other related equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and instructions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
  • Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Please include 2 work references.

  • Tajima TMBP-S1501C, singlehead machine
  • Yamata High-Speed Single-Needle Bar Tacking Industrial Sewing Machine - FY1850
  • iKonix Single-Needle Industrial Sewing Machine - KS-810
