JOB Description

Summary: We are seeking a motivated, self-starter with a high level of organizational skills to work in a positive, client driven, team-based environment. Must be able to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with all levels of personnel within the Company.

Looking for experienced and dependable retail merchandisers that can provide visibility of retail conditions for our clients' brands on shelf. Experience working in retail and ability to read schematics is preferred but not mandatory. Must be willing to overcome obstacles to complete the job and must be able to work with store personnel in a professional manner. Must be physically able to accomplish tasks of lifting product, shelving, and equipment and working on your feet for the duration of the day.

• Provides maintenance of clients' products on store shelves, reporting out of stocks to management, replacing tags and and point of sale material, auditing store conditions, and providing optimum display of products.
• Builds store relationships and grows sales by auditing inventory levels and prompting store management to reorder when levels appear low and sell incremental cases, dual selling locations, and promo displays.
• Utilizes our retail app technology to answer client questions, pricing, competitor activity, and provides detailed feedback on store conditions, customer reactions to products, and promotions in store.
• Maintains quality results by following and enforcing client's merchandising compliance standards and taking ownership of your VIP role in the supply chain. Must be willing to accept accountability and look for opportunities to add value and provide quality insights.

Retail Merchandiser Qualifications / Skills:

• Retail Merchandising Experience preferred, but not required.
• Product knowledge. Quality focus. Customer focus. Team Culture. Client relationships. Promotions. Reporting skills. Attention to detail. Territory management.
• Communicate effectively with STAR’s personnel, clients, store personnel and customers regarding tasks, sales activities, and objectives.
• Travel: routes will be local within the region, inclusive of Gulf Coast Region.
• Technology: Must have a smartphone and access to reliable high-speed internet. Must have own personal vehicle with insurance.
