Your Opportunity

Our Transportation team is seeking an experienced Transportation Analyst to join our growing team.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Work on a variety of transportation projects that may include focusing on policy, planning, systems & technology, operations and safety.
  • Perform transportation planning studies, traffic operations analysis, traffic impact studies, speed studies, toll road feasibility studies, traffic signal timing analysis, crash analysis, and roadway safety audits.
  • Conduct microsimulation modeling, roadway operations design, prepare signal timing plans, traffic management plans, signing plans, and pavement marking design.
  • Support travel demand modeling, including model preparation and analysis of results.
  • Assist with traffic data collection and data analysis, write reports, and other technical assignments
  • Write draft technical memoranda and provide traffic engineering and transportation planning input to projects within transportation disciplines.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Must have knowledge of travel model application and some exposure to model development and calibration.
  • Must have experience with major modeling packages including CUBE, TransCAD, VISUM, EMME4.
  • Experience with various scripting languages such as CUBE Voyager and GISDK, is also required.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, C , Python and R is desired.
  • Exposure to DTA modeling with packages such as Dynameq and Aimsun is also desired.

Education and Experience

Requires a 4-year degree in engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in travel demand modeling or Master’s degree in transportation engineering and 3 years’ experience.
