Your Opportunity
This role has the possibility of a hybrid work schedule.
The role of a Civil Engineer is to work independently on smaller projects, and as a team member of a larger project under the guidance of a Senior Engineer. The Civil Engineer should be able to evaluate, select, specify, and engineer transportation systems for public clients such as the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.
A Civil Engineer will provide immediate supervision and guidance to a group of employees, assigning tasks, checking work at frequent intervals for accuracy and completeness; and maintaining schedules.
A Civil Engineer will perform a variety of roadway related tasks which may include the development of plans, designs, specifications, and estimates. Examples of design related tasks include roadway geometrics, storm drainage, storm water management, erosion control, traffic signals, and traffic control.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field. Licensed Professional Engineer preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience.
The position will primarily work in an office setting; may require some fieldwork.
