The work, and what you'll do:
Join our client's team and help customers achieve their mission! As a Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in integrating prototype solutions, developing metrics and monitoring, and enhancing complex software systems for federal and commercial customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, document, maintain, and enhance software systems.
- Integrate prototypes to improve processes, performance, and stability.
- Create metrics and monitoring dashboards for customer products.
- Analyze user requirements and translate them into software design and performance requirements.
- Debug existing software and develop new features.
What you'll need: 
- Experience with Java, Apache Tomcat, NoSQL databases (MongoDB), Apache NiFi, and Spring Framework.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with the Elastic Stack, Atlassian suite (Confluence, Jira), and Git version control.
- Experience with corporate data flow processes and tools, Open-Source Software (OSS), Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) software are a plus. 
Clearance requirement: **US Citizenship required. This role does not require a clearance, however you must be willing to go through the clearance process to obtain one.**
Location: Fort Meade, MD. Telework is mission dependent.
