Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our legal team as a Legal Intern. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of legal areas. The ideal candidate will be a current law student or recent graduate with a strong academic background and a passion for the law.

The internship is a 12-week commitment running from either June 3rd – August 23rd, or June 17th to September 6th. This is a hybrid role with expectations of coming into the office about 2 - 3 times a week.

What You'll Do

• Assist with contract management, including drafting and reviewing contracts with vendors, customers, and carriers. 
• Provide support with administrative tasks such as filing, organizing, and managing documents. 
• Assist with corporate governance matters, such as maintaining corporate records and ensuring compliance with corporate formalities. 
• Review, summarize and analyze legal documents, including agreements, policies, and correspondence. 
• Assist with intellectual property matters, such as trademark searches, maintaining and updating patent portfolio.
• Collaborate with attorneys and other team members on legal projects and initiatives.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Who You Are

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Forms, Smartsheet, Teams.
• Thrive in fast-paced environment and excel under pressure. 
• Enjoy sharing a good laugh with teammates.

Education and Experience

• Currently enrolled in an accredited law school or recent law school graduate.
• Strong academic record with coursework in relevant legal areas.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Prior internship or work experience in a legal setting is preferred but not required.
