Stang Family Eyecare is Hiring an Optician Near Marquette, MI

Stang Family Eyecare is seeking a bright, friendly, full-time Optician to join our team in Marquette, MI.

The right candidate should be committed to providing amazing customer service to our growing list of patients.

Prior experience is not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate prescriptions Recommend specific lenses, lens coatings, and frames to suit client needs.
  • Verify that finished lenses have been made correctly.
  • Operate pupilometer, manual lensometer, and other tools to ensure proper fittings for patients.
  • Sell contact lenses, spectacles, sunglasses, and other eye accessories.
  • Communicate client questions and concerns to physicians.

COMPENSATION Stang Family Eyecare puts great value in the Optician position by offering a starting wage of $16 per hour, negotiable with experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Customer service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Optical dispensing experience preferred, but not required.
  • Medical and/or retail experience preferred, but not required.
  • Computer skills preferred, but not required.
