Stanford Adult Care Lodge is Hiring a Resident Care Aide 2nd SHIFT Near Plainwell, MI

HIRING PART-TIME and FULL-TIME Second shift are from 2:15 PM to 10 PM.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Aide to join our team. As a Resident Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to residents in our facility.

Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Monitor and document changes in residents' physical and emotional condition
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Help residents with mobility, including lifting and transferring
- Support residents with dementia care needs
- Drive residents to appointments or outings as needed

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or home care is preferred
- Ability to provide direct support to individuals with diverse needs
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and assist residents with mobility needs
- Compassionate and patient demeanor

Must be at least 18 years of age and above

- Must be able to complete required reports and follow written and oral instructions that are related to the care and supervision of the residents.

- Must be suitable to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of each resident.

- Capable of performing First Aid (Onsite training provided free of cost)

- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation/BLS (Onsite Training provided free of cost)

- Prevention and contaminant of communicable diseases (Onsite training provided free of cost)

- Background check/clearance from Labor Department (Provided by Stanford Adult Care)

- Physical Fitness/PDP test through family physician (Arrangement can be made through Stanford Adult Care)

All Employees are required to wear mask as recommended by MDHHS when working within Assisted Living Facility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
