Job Summary :

This person will perform general building maintenance projects and safety inspections for all locations. They will ensure that projects are completed safely and within the timelines established.

Perform other related projects as prescribed by the Operations Manager or the General Maintenance Supervisor and other assignments as required at other sites both on and off Standard TV and Appliance sites.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Minimum two (2) years work experience in building maintenance, general contracting, or relevant experience.
• Provide evidence of current drivers license (must be in good standing).
• Maintain a clear driving record (no more than 3 accidents / tickets within a 3-year period or no more than 2 accidents / tickets within a 1-year period. No DUI's
• Fluency in English (written & verbal).
• Must be organized and possess the ability to prioritize work projects.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Ability to work positively in a team environment.
• Ability to work a 40-hour week flexible schedule, some overtime, and occasional weekends and nights.
• Ability to qualify to be insured under Standard TV & Appliance, Inc. insurance policy.
• Provide own basic hand tools including circular saw and cordless drill (specialty tools are provided by the Company).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 120 lbs independently and 300lbs with assistance.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Project management experience.
• Pool / hot tub maintenance.
• Knowledge of Portland metro area
