The Prepress Operator will be responsible for preparing new, repeat and changed business forms orders for production. Forms include, statements, continuous, and snap-out forms. Using customer supplied artwork or modifications made by the Prepress department, proofs are created for customer approval. Once approved the plates will be made through a computer to plate system, bent and delivered to the various presses. Thorough QC. checks must be made to ensure the proof matches the press copy and ultimately the created plate. Maintain the daily commitments for proofs as well as plates to ensure the presses are continually running, is expected daily.

Software & Equipment:

Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, Word, Prinergy Evo rip, PC & Mac

Requires operating a Windows based pc and utilizing Adobe software products, Should have experience operating a CTP system. Experience with business forms production is a plus. Training will occur to learn the workflow process, to read the job tickets and to gain knowledge of the daily priorities. This position works closely with the Sales department and Production. Skills required include the ability to multitask, have an attention to detail and possess effective communication skills to enhance the teamwork environment. Full time position, 7:30 to 4:00 pm, M-F, with benefits. A drug test and background check is required prior to employment.
