JobDescription :

As a sandblaster youwill be responsible for using specialized equipment to remove paintrust dirt and other contaminants from various surfaces usingabrasive materials propelled by compressed air.

Loads abrasive materials into blasting equipment andadjust settings for optimal performance. Monitors and maintainsequipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.

Removes oldpaint rust scale and other contaminants from surfaces usingabrasive blasting techniques. Inspects surfaces after blasting toensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Cleans andmaintains work areas including disposing of waste materialsproperly. Follow safety protocols and always wear appropriatepersonal protective equipment (PPE).

Communicates with supervisorsand team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow.Adheres to company policies procedures and regulations regardingsafety quality and environmentalstandards.

Requirements :

Highschool diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a sandblasteror in a related field preferred. Knowledge of sandblastingequipment techniques and materials.

Ability to read and interpretblueprints schematics and work orders. Strong attention to detailand quality control skills.

Physical stamina and strength tooperate equipment and perform manual labor. Excellent handeyecoordination and spatial awareness.

Good communication skills andability to work in a team environment. A willingness to followsafety procedures and wear PPE asrequired.
