Job Description & Requirements:
The Industrial painter/blaster will refine metal or hard composition surfaces by meticulously abrading to eliminate scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt while achieving specified finishes. Skillfully administer abrasives such as sand, grit, or shot into machine hoppers to facilitate the process. Proficiently select and prepare paints by either choosing premixed options or blending pigment, oil, and other substances to attain precise colors. Demonstrated capability to prepare products before and after painting processes, including utilizing power spray guns with proficiency.
Candidates must successfully complete a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and be fitted to wear a respirator. Physical agility is essential, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
